Rimmel London Stay Glossy

So, you’ve been searching for the popular Rimmel Apocalips in the US, and you found nothing.  Or, when you finally learn that Rimmel Apocalips is actually Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquer, you can’t find the drugstore displays.  And then it all ends with a search online where the Rimmel Show Off shades are sold out.  Sound familiar? I absolutely could not find these (mystical) Show Off glosses, and I’ve searched up and down the East Coast.  However, as my consolation prize, I did discover the wonderful Rimmel London Stay Glossy lip gloss.

Priced affordably, the Stay Glossy lacquers have a ton of pigmentation, boast beautiful colors and glitters, and have a non-sticky texture that gives lips a pretty shine.  While the lip gloss does not last the full six hours advertised, I loved that Stay Glossy leaves a lovely lip stain. As a bright, blue-toned pink, Stay Glossy Fuchsia Fever is the perfect color to transition from summer to fall.  Stay Glossy Diamond Dust (what a cute name!) is a nude colored gloss with small glitter particles.  Diamond Dust is one of the rarer lip glosses where the glitter is not gritty or sits uncomfortable on the lips - this gloss shade is the ideal complement to a smokey eye look.

While I may not have found the Show Off Laquers, I highly recommend trying the Rimmel London Stay Glossy lip gloss - it’s one of those hidden gems that will become one of your favorites.

Stay Pretty, Miranda M.

First of all, I just found your blog because I’m a new POPSUGAR blogger AND my name is also Miranda M :) Maybe I’m your long-lost 3rd beauty blogger sister! :)

I’ve actually been pleasantly surprised with Rimmel lately. They never used to be CLOSE to my favorite drugstore brand but that changed after I tried their Scandaleyes mascara. Definitely gonna be checking out these glosses. I’m not a huge fan of lipgloss unless they set matte or stain, PLUS I love cool toned pinks/reds. Great review!
