Revlon Lipstick Swatches and Review - Revlon Lipstick Collection

Revlon Lipstick Swatch - Revlon Lipstick Review
Revlon Lipstick Collection (reporting for duty!)

Miranda’s Notes:

I’ll go ahead and make the generalizing statement that every beauty blogger out there has an extensive collection of “something” - and I’m fairly confident that this is accurate.  From eye shadow palettes to blushes to highlighters, beauty products are perfect to gather as these items make us feel more confident, are perfect for a girls night event, and provide a small break in the morning before facing the daily errands.

So, of course, I love collecting lipsticks - lipsticks are easy to apply, easy to carry, and instantly spruce up a look.  For this post, I am featuring a part of my Revlon lipstick collection - I chose the brighter colors as summer and spring are coming - and we all need spring lipstick ideas.  Some of these were gifted by mom who’s got impeccable taste in color, some were from purchases with my sister, Mackenzie, and some were just part of random drugstore visits.  These colors suit my skin tone perfectly and as with most Revlon lipsticks, the quality is near perfect.

The shades included are:  Revlon Toast of New York 325 Swatch (creme finish) Wild Orchid 457 Swatch (pearl finish), Siren 677 Swatch (creme finish), Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick, Matte, Stormy Pink 011 Swatch (matte finish), Orange Flip 710 Swatch (creme finish), Ravish Me Red 654 Swatch (creme finish), Fuchsia Fusion 657 Swatch (pearl finish), Lilac Champagne 590 Swatch (creme finish), Apricot Fantasy 120 Swatch (pearl finish).

Lovely gold Revlon packaging
Summer Lipsticks - neon pink, candy pink, and bright orange

Revlon Lilac Champagne (first on the left) is a bright, almost neon, pink. I tend to wear this with a dewy finish BB Cream and mascara - I keep it simple as this color is too perfect to distract from it.

Revlon Stormy Pink (middle) is a matte pink that reminds me of sixties glamour make up - paired with a winged liner or smokey eyes, this lipstick is boy-approved.

Revlon Siren (last on the right) is the quintessential orange red lipstick that is popular every warm-weather season.  I actually have two of the same color as I run through this quite often.

Revlon Fuchsia Fusion (below) and Revlon Wild Orchid (below) are pearl-finish fuchsia colors with purple and dark red notes - these lipsticks show surprisingly bright on the lips and are perfect for a night out (or just when you want to show a bit of attitude).

Spring and summer can’t get here fast enough!

I’ve worn toast of new york since 1992. Love rediscovering it. What would be a comparable version of it in a matte finish?
