Too Faced Eye Shadow Palette - Review and Swatches
|Too Faced Naked Eye - Too Faced Eye Shadow Collection|
Every girl should own a neutral eye palette that suits her skin tone and eye color. For those busy days when you don’t have time to coordinate colors or do some heavy-duty blending, it’s easier to just apply one natural color on the lid and get started on errands. I love light makeup that makes me feel confident and pretty without looking like I spend a ton of time getting ready. I’ve swatched several natural eye palettes and my favorite is the Too Faced Naked Eye palette. From the soft colors, great pigmentation, longevity, and tiny glimmer, this is the palette I use for my every day makeup.
|The Naked Eye includes three cards with tips on creating different looks|
Pros: As you’ll see below, the colors in this palette are lighter toned and yet are completely different shades and textures. I often find that in natural eye shadow palettes the colors are either white, really white, black, and really black - and I end up spending a ton of money for basically two colors with no nuance. In the case of the Two Faced Naked Eye palette, I can create different everyday looks while still being natural. The Classic look has a green-grey color that emphasizes my eye color, the Day look has highlighting shimmering colors, and the Fashion adds a bit of sensible, muted glam. The Naked Eye palette also has a balance between glitter colors and matte colors depending on preference. Both my sister and I tried the product and created beautiful looks - so it’s fair to say this Naked palette is suited for everyone.
In terms of quality, the eye shadows have strong pigmentation, are long lasting, easily blendable, and the color is true to the pan color. In some instances, I noticed some fallout but it may have been due to my overzealous brush application. Overall, the Too Faced Naked Eye is affordable, packaged beautifully, easy to carry in your purse, perfect for creating natural eye makeup, and is guaranteed to stay the way it was originally applied.
Cons: None (yes, I feel that strongly about this palette - finding neutral makeup that looks natural and is high quality is a hard requirement but Too Faced meets all expectations).
