New “In the Glow” Set by Sephora - The nine piece kit which includes nine products is described as “shimmer, gleam and glow with Sephora’s bestselling complexion enhancers.”
I was at Sephora the other day and ran across this little kit and was so excited about the products included so I picked it up! This kit includes three bronzers, three illuminators and three blushes in deluxe sample sizes and it retails for $45. There are also other kits, based around the lashes ($45), eyeliners ($28), a glam kit ($45) and a super start essential kit ($75) with perfume, lipgloss etc. They claim that this particular face sculpting kit is a $111 value, and I believe it! You get so much product in each of the samples and the variety is useful for Christmas presents and stocking stuffers, or just a nice way to try out different products without spending too much money on the full size products. These will come in handy while traveling as well due to their efficient packaging. I’ve always wondered about the hype around some of these products and was surprised to see what I would want to re-purchase and what I’ll give to my sister to try out, since our skin type is different and some colors suit her better than me.
I will have swatches and reviews on each product coming up as I get to play with them more, so stay tuned!
Such cute packaging!
I love kits like these because I get to try various products without committing to a full size option and finding I don’t like it. Also, kits are a great way to find what works and what doesn’t on your complexion - Sephora samples can only go so far especially considering products like pressed powder. When my sister told me she purchased it, I was excited - I’d like to try some of the products and can already tell which I like and which she will like (but there can always be surprises!). For example, I’m eyeing that Bare Minerals Pure Radiance - if there is something I’m guilty of is glitter on my face and I love it! I have fair skin and the Bare Minerals loose powder looks good - but we’ll have to see. As my sister mentioned, swatches coming soon.
So far now, my review is - can’t wait to try it!
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush ‘Splendor’ (0.11oz), Tarte Natural Cheek Stain ‘Flush’ (0.17 oz), Stilla Convertible Color ‘Peony’ (0.07 oz)
Packaging is very elaborate for sample sizes! Haven’t tried cream blushes yet so looking forward to it
The Laura Mercier Color Bloc works great as eyeshadow, will have a look using it soon!
Benefit ‘High Beam’ (0.13 oz), BareMinerals All Over Face Color ‘Pure Radiance’ (0.02oz), Lorac Perfectly Lit Oil-Free Luminizing Powder ‘Spotlight’ (0.106oz)
I’m so excited to try the High Beam! The Lorac looks like a great warm toned highlighter too
